Color analysis is for everyone. All are welcome regardless of race, age, identity, orientation, skin color, ethnicity, dermatological condition, etc.

We each have our best colors.

There are deep problems within the color analysis community. Specifically, people of color tend to be lumped into winter seasons without adequate testing.

So, I guarantee two things:     

1. Each client will be tested in all seasons. We will never eliminate a season until we have tested you in it.

2. The draping system I use to determine your colors has been designed and tested on a diverse set of people. It is not just tailored for white skin.

Sessions last two to three hours depending on how much content you want to pack in.

These sessions are educational at their core. My primary goal is to make sure you understand and see the difference your colors can make for you.

Appointments take place in my sunlit apartment in South Brooklyn.

I have cats. While they are fluffy and clean angels, I realize some clients may have allergies.

1. Introduction:

We'll go through some color theory basics, dive into the background on color analysis, and get our eyes warmed up for draping.

2. Test Draping:

We'll drape you in a series of 60 to 80 test drapes to find your “home” in one of the 12 seasons.

3. Extended Draping:

The best part! We'll go through at least 16 of your best colors via an extended draping.

4. Makeup (optional):

We'll play around with some test makeup to bring your beauty (or handsomeness) to the next level.

We'll also go through how to find your best makeup colors in the wild (i.e. Sephora or Duane Reade).

5. Application:

We'll take what you've learned and talk about how to apply it to the real world.

I'll show you how to identify your colors while out shopping or organizing your closet.

If you've brought some of your own clothing and makeup—we'll test its suitability for you.

Maybe we'll chat about hair color or jewelry or what to wear to a special event.

I'll always set aside time for us to discuss any topics of interest.

Color analysis is about finding the colors that are already within you—the colors that compose your skin, hair and eyes—and repeating them in your clothing, jewelry and makeup.

It may sound woo-woo, but there's some science behind it:

Your pigments: melanin (black, brown, and blue), hemoglobin (red), and carotene (yellow and orange) blend together to create your palette of colors.

It's why everyone has a blue that looks good on them. And a red. And *surprise* even a yellow.

It's also why your season won't change during your lifetime. While your pigment levels may change through seasonal tans or going grey, the qualities of your pigment stay the same throughout your life.

I currently do not post photos of sessions online, as it's 100% my client’s time.

But, I adore before and after photos.

I've started offering complementary shortened color analysis sessions in exchange for letting me take and post before and after shots online.
